MAXIMUM-SELL ANSWERS YOUR EBAY TRADING ASSISTANT QUESTIONS
What if items don't sell?
We can re-list them for you (if agreed).
What happens once my items have sold ?
If we have your items then we package and post them for you once payment has been received from the buyer via PayPal (a secure online payment system).
With large items we normally take the full details and leave the items with you. Once the items have sold we arrange a convenient time for them to be collected from you and we can sometimes arrange cash on collection.
When will I get the money for my items that sold?
Buyers are given up to a one week cooling off period to return any item sent by mail / courier, if they are dissatisfied. Payment to the seller will be made shortly after this cooling off / refund period.
What if I decide I don't want to sell my item?
If we have already listed your item on eBay and it has no current bid then there is a charge of £25 per item, which is simply to cover time and costs. For an item that already has a bid or has sold then it can cause problems and be very damaging to our business reputation so there is a higher charge of £100 per item.
I want to sell my kitchen units & work tops - Is this something that could sell and how will it be taken away from my house?
Yes! We can list your kitchen providing that it is in a good condition. As well as the units and worktops we can also sell your major kitchen appliances as long as these are all working and in good condition. We will state in the auction listing that the successful buyer needs to bring with them their own builder to remove the units & work tops so apart from letting them into your home you will not need to do a thing (apart from maybe make them a cup of tea!). If you prefer you can arrange for your own builder to carry out the work and if this is the case we will mention this in the auction listing.
